Pagliuca Supports Rules for Other People — Or Not

Having recently claimed that he supports a military draft and then clarifying that he does not support a military draft, Stephen Pagliuca is at it again.  Jessica Van Sack of the Herald is reporting that mere hours after the draft-or-not episode, Pagliuca told the audience at a Harvard forum that:

I’d put limits probably on personal money that you can have in an election… [Read more →]

Informative AND Witty

I’ve tried for several hours to think of a post for the day that could compete with Mr. Kennedy Seat.  But I concede.  Today, he’s both informative AND witty, and I can only bow to his brilliance.  The informative:

Blogger Taylor Marsh is sensing excitiment about the issue, too. On today’s podcast, she says that since the House vote, she’s heard from a swell of concerned women.  And Coakley’s fired up, too.  In an interview with Marsh, she said:

This just seems incomprehensible that in 2009 we are taking steps back. And I just refuse to acknowledge that we have to make that [trade-0ff]… [Read more →]

NOW Will Score House Health Vote as
Anti-Choice

Erin Matsen, VP of the National Organization for Women, today said that in its ratings of lawmakers, her group will score House votes in favor of the recently-passed health care bill to be anti-choice.  Asked whether that would be the case on ABC’s web program Top Line, she said:

Absolutely, but you know what? I’m not concerned about… Democrats, what I’m really concerned about are women on college campuses who are missing their periods. [Read more →]
