Coakley to Release Law Enforcement Plan with Police Endorsements

On Wednesday, Coakley will release her homeland security plan in conjunction with a headquarters event highlighting law enforcement endorsements, including what looks to me to be a new endorsement from the Boston Police Patrolmen’s Association. One of the scheduled speakers is BPPA (and National Association of Police Organizations) president Thomas Nee. In the photo above, Nee is third from left, shown with President Obama, VP Biden, and AG Holder in the oval office prior to last spring’s Rose Garden ceremony honoring “Top Cops.”
Also present will be Hugh Cameron, president of the Massachusetts Coalition of Police, who said in September:
First as District Attorney and then as Attorney General, Martha Coakley has been a great partner to law enforcement here in Massachusetts. She has worked to fight violence in our communities, including playing a lead role in the passage of Jessica’s Law and has worked to put much needed resources in the hands of law enforcement officers across the state. Martha Coakley has been a friend to law enforcement in Massachusetts and we know she will stand by us in Washington
