Let’s Do Lunch

Want to meet other women who are excited about the candidacy of Martha Coakley?  On September 30, Emily’s List and the Barbara Lee Family Foundationare hosting a luncheon at the Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston.Emily’s list founder, Ellen R. Malcolm is very excited about the possibility of Massachusetts’ first female senator.  She’ll be a lively speaker.

It’s a fundraiser, so it’s not a free lunch, but the campaign is planning a variety of events at a different dollar levels.  There are special-interest events, too, like Lawyers for Coakley, Williams alums for Coakley, etc.  If you’re interested in finding a gathering that’s right for you, e-mail marthasenate10@me.com .

I’m going!- This will be the kick-off event- lots of energy and it falls right on the day of the first FEC filing – Let’s show that Martha is not only the most qualified candidate but she can keep up with the guys with the big bucks- I know it’s a large dollar amount (think any age can be a young professional if the $500 is too steep) and there will be lower dollar events (Oct 7th) But if you can give your money now- it can be counted and reported on Sept. 30th- It’s important and it’s the only thing that could hold Martha back- We can’t let $$$ stop the best chance we’ll have in Massachusetts to make history for many years. Go Martha!!!!
