Catching Up with the Boys $1K at a Time.

Part of “leveling the political playing field” involves raising money for candidates. Everyone knows it is much harder for female politicians to raise money. So that tilts the field against Martha. In addition, federal election laws prohibit rolling over funds remaining from state campaigns into bids for federal office. So Martha is starting with $0. A huge second tilt of the field. Meanwhile, her potential rivals, all male, have millions.

So, we think it is fair to say, Martha needs women’s support – from all over the country.
